ESN previously awarded the same grant to Powerful Schools. While each of the three organizations has specific deliverables in their grants, the primary goal of the grants is for them to continue their outreach efforts in underserved, underrepresented communities to better understand and navigate the educational system, and how to advocate and support their children.
“Powerful Schools, Parents for Student Success and Vibrant Schools are all important organizations in our state and their specific communities,” said Jana Carlisle, executive director of Partnership for Learning. “These grants enable them to continue their good work and reach important audiences to help them be great advocates for their children.”
